The Making Rooms has a kiln that is available for pottery and glass firing (click here to learn how to using kilns like ours, which heats from the sides, for glass work).

Kiln hire is £25 per fire for businesses or £13 per fire for personal/educational use. It is a Nabertherm top loading kiln with two 350mm diameter shelves available and shelf pillars of 50mm and 100mm.

The internal cavity is 330mm high and 410mm in diameter.
